I am having a great time at Kala!

Work in Progress

It seemed like my new work would never come all together. Then Boom!  It all started to come out great!  New project " The Human Shop" is slowing moving forward. There are a lot new work to come! The images show my work in progress. Of course it is not the final look of this work. I am going to add more.

I am going to work at Kala Art Institute this summer and I will be working on something related to this project. Please stay tuned for next images!

SGC in New Orleans

I had never been to New Orleans until this conference. I was busy with conference stuff but made sure that I would go out and have a fun there. Foods were amazing. I even had a bloody mary  made of moonshine! kick ass cajun seafood, drinks and awesome midnight street car ride... it could not have been better.

I loved and loved a group show I was in as a part of the conference. The exhibition was curated by Maddy Rosenberg through Central Booking in NYC. Thank you Maddy and Nina for the hard work and hope to see you guys soon in NYC!!!

I was also very proud of my students. I would like to let them know how amazing they are! They asked a lot of great questions and their open portfolio session  was a great turn out. They have a great future ahead of them. Keep working hard!

new work in progress

I have some new work coming up. My work is changing a lot and I can't wait to see how these will land. For now, I am exploring all of the possibilities.

New challenges

I have new experiment work. I like this direction better than ones with fabrics, but we will see how these guys turn out.

New prints for my exhibition in November

I have some new prints ready for my upcoming exhibition in November. I have one more print and book to come for the show. Then, I will be ready fredy! I will upload some photos here, but you can also go to my website and look at them as well.
